About GlobalContentSearch

One search, every country: where a movie or show is streaming, renting or for sale, all over the world.

Why it exists

Most "where to watch" sites only show what's available in the country you're in. But streaming catalogues differ a lot from one country to the next, and a title missing from your Netflix might be on Netflix in a dozen other places, or on a service you'd never have thought to check. GlobalContentSearch puts every country side by side, so you can see the whole picture in one go.

Who runs it

GlobalContentSearch is an independent site built and run by Alex Austin, a developer based in the UK. It isn't owned by, or affiliated with, any streaming service. Bug reports and suggestions from people who use the site go straight into improving it, so if something looks wrong, please get in touch.

Where the data comes from

Film and TV details (titles, posters, descriptions, ratings) come from The Movie Database (TMDB), a community-built database. Streaming availability comes from JustWatch, provided through TMDB. Catalogues change all the time, so it's always worth checking the service itself before you subscribe.

This website uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.

How the site is funded

The site is free to use and doesn't need an account. To cover hosting and development it may show advertising, and some links to VPN providers are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, the provider pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always labelled Ad, and they never change which countries or services we show for a title. See the privacy policy for details of cookies and advertising.
